To the Editor:

I am writing to endorse Linda Higgins for Hennepin County District 2 Commissioner. I have known Linda for 38 years, and she has always been a “get-it-done” type person. She is very personable and approachable, and will definitely be a superb commissioner for District 2.

Linda previously served as a state senator for 16 years in a Minneapolis area district—she was very well-respected and well-liked by the people of her district as an elected person who listens and then delivers.

She is now running for the District 2 Commissioner seat vacated by Mark Stenglein, because she realizes that she can accomplish more for the people she serves at the county level.  Hennepin County District 2 includes a large part of Plymouth, and as a Plymouth(and District 2) resident for 21 years, I strongly encourage everyone to vote on Nov. 6,  including a vote for Linda Higgins!
