POLL: How Do You Feel About Increased Train Speeds Through Plymouth
Trains are now traveling through Plymouth at 40mph. We want to know your thoughts about it.
Trains are moving faster through the west metro. The Canadian Pacific Railroad increased track speeds in Plymouth, Crystal and New Hope at the end of January.
The track speeds will jump from 20mph to 40mph in Crystal and New Hope and will increase from 25mph in Plymouth to 40mph.
A Canadian Pacific spokesman says the change will improve the company’s efficiency and traffic flow through the three cities.
The tracks go through several residential areas, so we want to know what you think about the speed increases. Take our poll and tell us your comments in the section provided below.

Where I cross the train track there is a working rail road signal so I don't need to be to concerned about not seeing a train coming.
