It was the end of the line for Wayzata Trojans Friday night.

The Eden Prairie Eagles defeated the Wayzata Trojans in the state Class 6A semifinals on the Mall of America Field at the Metrodome in Minneapolis with a final score of 21-7.

The Trojans season ends and they will not have the chance at the inaugural Class 6A Prep Bowl championship game against Lakeville. But this is the ninth consecutive Prep Bowl featuring either Wayzata or Eden Prairie. 

The 2012 Wayzata Trojans Football banquet is Wednesday, Nov. 28, at Wayzata High School.
