The 26th annual Old-Fashioned Christmas in Plymouth is Sunday, Dec. 2, at Plymouth Creek Park.
The event is co-sponsored by the Plymouth Historical Society and the city of Plymouth's Recreation Department.
According to the Historical Society:
The purpose of the event is to provide some old-fashioned Christmas spirit and activities for families in Plymouth. Children can visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus will help the elves hand out candy canes. A hay ride pulled by Belgian horses with bells jingling will be giving free rides also. Hot cider and cookies will be provided. Carolers can be heard and you can makeChristmas decorations are other activities for the children.
This year we again have our great story teller back. Bob Gasch will be telling holiday stories, something you don’t want to miss! Also the Armstrong Chamber Singers will be singing holiday songs and delighting the children young and old.
According to the city's website the event's activities will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2. It is free to the public.
And don't forget, if your child has a letter for Santa they can drop it off at several different city of Plymouth locations from Nov. 26 to Monday, Dec. 17, and all letters will get a personalized response, but must include a self-addrssed stamped envelope.
