It was a back-and-forth kind of tournament between the Wayzata Trojets and the Maple Grove Crimson Dance Team last weekend.
The Trojets' kick team won the Section 2AAA Tournament held on Saturday and the jazz team took second. Alternately, the Crimson jazz team won the tournament and their kick team placed second.
Wayzata High Schools kick and jazz teams will perform next at the Minnesota State High School League State Tournament on Feb. 15 at Target Field.
