Wynand Hansen Cd Launch "Surrender 2012"

The community is invited to attend Surrender, a CD release concert presented by singer/songwriter Wynand Hansen and band on Thursday, July 12, at Messiah United Methodist Church in Plymouth. The concert begins at 7 p.m. and will feature songs composed by Hansen for his “Jump for Joy” CD, interspersed with faith stories from individuals in the community and band members. Attendees will be able to purchase the “Jump for Joy” CD for the first time following the concert.

A native of Johannesburg, South Africa, Hansen’s music ranges from folk-rock, to Gospel, to praise and worship, to spiritual. Since 2010, he has been living in the Twin Cities and building a freelance music ministry. His freelance path led him to Messiah UMC where he is leads worship with the church’s contemporary worship band, The Way, at 10:30 a.m. on Sundays. 

Wynand Hansen is a worship leader from South Africa, now moving, writing and singing his way through the Twin Cities.
