Plymouth Man's Romantic Proposal Gives Life to 'In the Way' Guy

The man who unfortunately foiled a perfect photo op of a Walt Disney World proposal has now been named 'In The Way' Guy, according to E! News.

Plymouth resident Nick Landis probably couldn't have picked a more romantic place to propose to his girlfriend, Erika Boone, than before Cinderella's Castle at Walt Disney World.

However, when a Disney World photographer attempted to catch the beautiful moment on camera, the fairytale scene was stolen by a man who is now being called "In the Way" Guy, according to E! News.

"Neither of us realized that it happened at the time because we were focused on one thing,'' Landis told Today. "He saw what was happening, and made split-second decision to jump in front rather than run around the camera person. We thought it was hilarious having a moment like that."

Landis uploaded the photo to Reddit, with the caption: "Tried to get a photo of our proposal...nailed it!"

According to E! News, it wasn't long before "In The Way" Guy made the rounds photobombing other big moments such as the first showing of the new Prince George or The Last Supper.

"In the Way" Guy is now an Internet, and meme, sensation. The original photo is the first in the Storify window above.
