Week Ahead: Fun Events In Plymouth

Here's some fun, free events:

• Flute Cocktail performs 7 p.m. Monday, July 15, on the Hilde Small Stage in Hilde Park. Audience members get to participate in this family friendly concert. The Flutes perform with percussion instruments and the piano, asking the audience to move, sing and use provided props and instruments to entertain. The show promises to not be your ordinary flute performance.

• Greenwood Tree performs at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, on the Parker's Lake Stage. The duo Bill Cagley and Stu Janis combine their musical talents that blends a unique sound of lively jigs and sweet waltzes.


• On Wednesday, July 17, several events will be going on including the Farmer's Market from 2:30-6:30 p.m. in the Ice Center parking lot. Also that day is the Water Ski Show: Prior Lake Water Ski Team at 7 p.m. at Parker's Lake.

• A bike helmet sale is 6-8 p.m. Thursday, July 18, at Plymouth Fire Station No. 3 on Dunkirk Lane. The annual sale offers reduced price helmets ranging in size from toddler to extra large adult with a variety of colors and styles.

• Also on Thursday, July 18, the BBB Jazz Orchestra and BBB Combo will perform at 7 p.m. at the Hilde amphitheater. The free concert delights with the sounds of the big band era of Glenn Miller and traditional jazz, blues, swing, Latin and ballads.
