MN School of Basketball Moves Out of Plymouth

The business will move to the warehouse on the 8000 block of 7th Avenue North in Golden Valley.

The Minnesota School of Basketball will be making its new home in Golden Valley and moving out of its Plymouth and Apple Valley locations. The Golden Valley location will replace the Plymouth location.

The Golden Valley City Council unanimously approved a conditional use permit that will allow the new business to move to its new digs.

The Minnesota School of Basketball offers lessons to athletes between ages 7 and 21.

"The business will provide proper training, footwork and skill instruction in the sport of basketball," Ammann said in a letter to the City. "The nature of this business is going to be individual or small group training."

Ammann put councilmembers' fears to rest, noting that there wouldn't be any rowdy games of basketball taking place outside of the establishment.
