Gertrud Luer and Andres Ableidinger manage the children's art program that serves Edina, Eden Prairie, Golden Valley, Maple Grove, New Hope, Minnetonka, Plymouth, St. Louis Park and Wayzata.

Plymouth residents Gertrud Luer and Andres Ableidinger recently took on a new role into their family - owners of the Abrakadoodle location in Plymouth.

“We are delighted to welcome Gertrud and Andres to our award-winning Abrakadoodle franchise system,” said Rosemarie Hartnett, CFE, President and Co-Founder of Abrakadoodle, Inc. “With Gertrud’s passion for art as a graphic designer, artist and with a degree in childhood education, in addition to Andres’ MBA and management expertise, I am confident they will be warmly received in Minneapolis, a community that understands the benefits of art education that cultivates creativity.”

As the pair transition into their ownership role, they plan to continue to provide and expand on the children’s art programs, classes, camps, workshops and more that serve the west metro communities of Edina, Eden Prairie, Golden Valley, Maple Grove, New Hope, Minnetonka, Plymouth, St. Louis Park and Wayzata.

“I am incredibly happy,” Gertrud said. “I love kids; I love art, and Abrakadoodle was just the opportunity I was looking for to fulfill my dream career. We were thrilled when we learned about the opportunity to take the reigns of the Minneapolis location, returning to an area we love.”
