Plymouth's Transit Committee Plans Its Year

The transit committee will review how the Plymouth Metrolink services are working for the public.

The transit committee in Plymouth has set up its plans for the coming year. The Plymouth Advisory Committee on Transit was established in 1999 to discuss transit issues facing the city. The group researches issues surrounding the Plymouth Metrolink transit system and makes suggestions to the city council as needed.

The group meets four times a year and plans its meetings well in advance. Here’s a look at what the group will tackle this year.

  • February 27: Elect officers and review 2012 route plan
  • May 22: Distribute 2012 annual transit report, discuss Station 73 service update
  • August 28: Legislative update, Suburban Transit Association update
  • December 4: Met Council & Transit Link update, recommend 2014 plans, review dial-a-ride service
