Come Spend A Morning at The Blake School’s Wayzata Campus on December 6

The Blake School invites prospective Lower School parents to spend a morning on its Highcroft campus in Wayzata on Thursday, Dec. 6 from 9 to 11:30 a.m.

A Morning at Blake
Thursday, December 6, 9-11:30 a.m.
Pre-kindergarten-Grade 5
Highcroft Campus, 301 Peavey Lane, Wayzata

Parents are encouraged to come explore the campus, observe classes and be part of a typical morning at Blake. During this time, there will be opportunities to participate in an interactive campus tour and speak with teachers and administrators. The morning begins at 9 a.m. with an introduction from Lower School Director Barry Wadsworth. Feel free to come for the entire morning or arrive as your schedule allows.

Commitment to affordability is evidenced by Blake’s strong financial aid program: $3.8 million of need-based financial assistance awarded to nearly 20 percent of the student body. Prospective families are also invited to attend a financial aid workshop on Saturday, December 15 at 9 a.m. on Blake’s Hopkins campus.

Blake is a co-educational, independent, Pre-K–12 school enrolling nearly 1,400 students from more than 56 Twin Cities-area communities. Blake provides a dynamic curriculum with exceptional opportunities for each child in academics, the arts, athletics and more and offers a comprehensive liberal arts education that allows for choices based on a student’s special interests and ability. Blake’s student-teacher ratios (9:1) and small class sizes balance academic rigor with personal attention and support for each student.

All admissions and financial aid applications must be received by January 31, 2013.

For directions or more information, please visit Blake’s web site at www.blakeschool.org or call the Blake Admissions Office at (952) 988-3420.
