OBITUARY: Jerome Zell of Plymouth

Jerome "Jerry" Zell, 77, of Plymouth passed away June 7, 2012.

He is survived by wife of 56 years, Barbara Lee; and son, Jeffrey Robert. He was born Jan. 13, 1935.

Zell was a Southwest High School class of 1953 graduate.

He worked at Honeywell for 48 years and painted the controls for the Lunar Land Rover, which sits on the moon.

He was an animal welfare activist for the past 50 years.

The world has lost a beloved soul.

Memorials preferred to St. Barnabas Church.

Funeral service is 12 p.m. today, June 11, at in Plymouth.
