Wayzata High Grad Who Counseled for Billy Graham Association Dies

Emily Johnson, 86, Chanhassen, died Friday, April 12, 2013. 

Services were held Wednesday, April 17 at St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Bloomington. Visitation was Tuesday, April 16 at Gearty-Delmore Chapel in Plymouth. 

Emily, who was a graduate of Wayzata High School, served as a counselor for the Rev. Billy Graham's outreach group, the Billy Graham Association. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Don. 

Survivors are her children, Stephen Johnson, Linda (Mike) Kohlhof, Brabara (Steve) Rains and Patricia Meier; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, Susan Schroeder, Ann Olson, Jack (Alice) Jakupciak, and Jeanne (Al) Friske; nieces, nephews and friends. 

Emily will be buried at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
