snow plowing mess

I am very disappointed in the job that the Plymouth snow plow crews have done the past two years on our residential streets.  The crews failed to use the opportunities during warm stretches to clear the streets down to the pavement.  They also fail to consider that several snowfalls of 3 or less inches add up to one snowfall of 6-9 inches.

I live on a dead end street that is a continual hill (up going in and down coming out).  I and other neighbors have had to use our snow blowers to clear the street enough to make it passable.  Since the city narrowed the street two years ago they now use a smaller truck to plow the street. The plow driver consistently leaves large piles of snow right on top of the street drain, and fails to clear the area of the street closest to the fire hydrant.

I know that St. Paul recently made changes to their snow plowing plan because the streets we difficult to navigate, I think that Plymouth could give them a run for their money when it comes to poorly maintained streets.
