SUPPORT DAN HAUGEN AS DIRECTOR FOR #284 SCHOOL BOARD!

As an educator in the Wayzata School District for over 40 years, I have had the opportunity to get to know and work with many outstanding individuals in our community; people that really care about our community’s children and show support for our educational system.  Dan Haugen is one of those people.

I have known Dan and his wife, Karrie, for over 20 years and have been fortunate to have all three of their children in my classroom.  As a teacher, I felt his support as a parent and community member. 

His concerns and comments were communicated in a positive manner and he always made it a point to voice his appreciation to those working with his children.  I know this type of positivity and openness will continue if elected to our school board.Dan’s background and current job will enable him to be an integral part of the team needed to direct the path of education for the children in our community.  His leadership, knowledge, and people skills will allow him to communicate the direction our district needs to take in the ever-changing world of education.  The one thing I know that will always be the driving force behind his decisions will be--What is best for our children?

In conclusion, I ask for you to join me in your support of Dan Haugen in his candidacy as a director of the Wayzata School District School Board.  He will prove to be an outstanding and vital part of the leadership that our community needs and deserves as we face future educational challenges.
