The Plymouth and Wayzata Rotary Clubs will host students and need sponsors

The Rotary Clubs are looking for six Wayzata School District families to host Anita and Felipe' during their stay in our communities.

The Plymouth and Wayzata Rotary Clubs will host Anita from Paraguay and Felipe’ from Brazil during the 2013-14 school year

The Wayzata and Plymouth Rotary Clubs are looking for six loving
Wayzata School District families to host Anita and Felipe’ during their stay in
our communities. Three families each will host one of the students for four
months. The Rotary Club will pay for their school lunches and will give the

ANITA turns 17 on February 14, 2014. She and her family are from Ciudad Del Este, a town in Paraguay of 331,000 inhabitants, and the third largest free trade city in the world. Her dad is the manager of a Mega America S.A. Company and her mom is a lawyer, notary and public auctioneer. Anita has two brothers who are 20 and 27 years old.

Anita enjoys playing handball, roller skating, swimming, piano and singing. She hopes to grow as a pianist and singer to promote Paraguayan culture. She likes most foods and is willing to try new ones, though she says it might be hard in the beginning. She speaks Portuguese and Guarani and has studied English for 8 years. She has traveled to Brazil with the Pastor of her church.

Felipe turns 17 on Octoberr 17, 2013. He and his family currently live in the city of Londrina in Parana, Brazil a town of 500,000 inhabitants, and a big trade and health services center. His dad is a merchant and owns a factory. Felipe’ has a younger sister.

Felipe’ loves to read, watch movies, play video games, and go out
with friends. He is a huge animal lover and says he will miss his three dogs
while in Minnesota. Felipe’ loves music and cinema; he wants to study acting
and one day work in the film industry. If that doesn’t work he would like to
become a veterinarian.
