UPDATE: Driver Exam Submitted For Woman In Crash Dec. 30

The morning of Dec. 30 a car rear ended a flatbed semi-trailer going northbound on Hwy 169 at the Plymouth Avenue exit, but the cause is unknown.

At about 9:40 a.m. Dec. 30 a vehicle rear-ended a flatbed semi-trailer in Plymouth.

The vehicles were going northbound on Highway 169 and were at the Plymouth Avenue exit when the accident occured.

Minnesota State Patrol reports no injuries. The State Patrol's public report on the incident said:

A 60-year-old Brooklyn Park woman in the car was unable to tell authorites what happened, but could only say "I don't know and I'm OK." She was cited for failing to use due care. A request for her to take a driver's exam was submitted.

A 61-year-old Robbinsdale man driving the semi told authorities he was driving straight along his lane, felt the other car hit his from behind and never saw the car prior to the crash.

When Plymouth Patch arrived shortly after the incident was first reported on Dec. 30 the roadway was found cleared and there was no traffic.
