Cause of Vicksburg Village Fire Declared to Be ‘Undetermined’

There were multiple possibilities, but investigators couldn't determine the primary source of the fire.

The investigation identified “multiple ignition possibilities” but couldn’t determine the primary source of the fire in the 62-unit building, located at 15750 Rockford Road. Consequently, the cause of the fire was declared to be undetermined.

Fire broke out at the building just before 4 a.m. July 12. Crews arrived to find the fire already well advanced on three floors in the middle of the building.
