Cyclist Greg LeMond injured, recovering from Plymouth car crash

The Associated Press is reporting that the Medina resident was injured Wednesday.

The Associated Press is reporting that Greg LeMond, the three-time winner of the Tour de France and Medina resident, was injured in a single-car accident in Plymouth Wednesday.

Plymouth police filed the report that stated LeMond lost control of his vehicle and may have lost consciousness prior to the accident. The report says LeMond's vehicle left the road Wednesday morning, went over an embankment, and then came to rest in a resident's back yard.

LeMond was unavailable for comment, the AP reports.
