Plymouth Police Round Up Underage Drinkers at Party
For the second straight week, Plymouth police busted up a loud party and arrested almost a dozen people accused of underage drinking.
For the second straight week, Plymouth Police broke up a party and arrested a handful of people for underage drinking, according to the most recent incident report from the Plymouth Police Department
Officers were called to a report of a loud party in the 2200 block of Fountain Lane North just before 2:30 a.m. Dec. 30. Nine people were cited for underage drinking.
Those cited included six 20-year-old Plymouth men; one 18-year-old Plymouth woman; an 18-year-old Excelsior woman; and a 20-year-old St. Michael woman.

Elsewhere, police were called to a report of a toilet on fire in a park in the 10800 block of Old County Road 15 just before 11 p.m. Jan. 4. A nearby sign was also damaged. The value of the loss was undetermined.

- Two fights
- One incident in which a victim was elbowed in the face, but wasn’t injured and declined to press charges
- Two forced entries into businesses
- One theft from a garage
- Two traffic stops resulting in citations for possession of marijuana, one of which also resulted in a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia
- One report of a loud party, in which the suspect was cited for providing false information to police
- Two reports of damage to a vehicle
- One report of someone driving over lawns and knocking down mailbox posts
- One report of a door on a building being kicked in
- One report of a suspect threatening a victim in a parking lot because the suspect thought the victim cut him off in traffic
- One report of domestic assault by strangulation
- One traffic stop resulting in a DWI arrest
- One traffic accident resulting in a vehicle fire and injuries
- Seven reports of bank or credit-card fraud
- Six reports of harassing telephone calls or text messages
- Four reports of hit-and-run traffic accidents
- An investigation of suspicious activity resulting in two juvenile arrests for underage drinking
- One car theft
- A report of an intoxicated man, resulting in an arrest for obstructing the legal process
- Three reports of violations of no-contact orders
- One report of suspects assaulting a man and stealing marijuana from him
- Four theft reports
- One report of mail theft
- Two reports of shoplifting
- One report of a victim making arrangements to sell shoes to a buyer, but the would-be buyer grabbed the shoes and fled without paying for them
- One report of a lost wallet, which was missing $400 in cash when it was recovered
- Eight reports of thefts from vehicles
- One report of a victim being robbed at gunpoint
