Hotel Party Ends in Multiple Arrests, Theft Suspect Caught: Plymouth Police Blotter

Also in the week's report: Cases of stolen identity, a domestic assault with both parties arrested and several thefts from vehicles.

The following incidents were reported from Jan. 17 to Jan. 23 by the Plymouth Police Department. All involved are innocent until charged and proven guilty. 

Jan. 17

Items were taken from a victims vehicle in the 3900 block of Lancaster Lane. The items were recovered by police. The case is under investigation.

Thieves attempted to break into a vehicle in the 3100 block of Campus Drive. The victim reported $350 to her car. Nothing was stolen.

A woman reported her side mirror was damaged in a hit-and-run near the intersection of Northwest Boulevard and West Medicine Lake Road.

A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 11000 block of Highway 55 in Plymouth.

A victim’s vehicle was smashed and a radar detector and GPS unit were both stolen from the car, with a total loss of more than $500 estimate. The incident happened in the 4100 block of County Road 101.

Jan. 18

Suspects prided open a door to gain entry to a business in the 10100 block of Sixth Avenue North. A phone was stolen.

A juvenile male cited for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 4900 block of Peony Lane.

An iPhone was reported stole from a locker room at a location in the 4900 block of Peony Lane North. The phone was tracked down and a 17-year-old juvenile was cited for theft.  

Jan. 19

A driver was arrested for DWI near the intersection of County Road 6 and Xenium Lane. The driver blew a .14, according to the report. A 63-year-old Plymouth man was arrested.

A 29-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for violation of a court order after police found him in a vehicle behind a closed business in the 3200 block of Vicksburg Lane.

Victim reported a hit-and-run crash in a parking lot in the 4000 block of Vinewood Lane.

Another hit-and-run was reported in a parking lot in the 4100 block of Vinewood Lane.

Jan. 21

A 17-year-old female was arrested for assault after a domestic report in the 2600 block of Pilgrim Lane.

Officers were paged to a report of a theft in progress in the 2700 block of Annapolis Circle. Suspects fled with an iPad and two cellular phones. One suspect, a 26-year-old Minneapolis man, was apprehended and arrested for theft and possession of marijuana.

Three Maple Grove teens, all female, were arrested on alcohol violation after a loud party complaint and altercation at a hotel in the 2600 block of Annapolis Lane North.  

A Plymouth resident reported his or her social security number was used to fraudulently obtain a loan at a business in the 2700 block of Norwood Lane.

Jan. 22

An 18-year-old Plymouth woman was charged for domestic assault after she got into an altercation that turned physical in the 11200 block of 42nd Avenue North in Plymouth.

A hit-and-run crash with property damage was reported in the 14600 block of 34th Avenue North.

A vehicle struck a sign and fled the scene near the intersection of Rockford Road and Nathan Lane.

Jan. 23

A fight on a school bus resulted in disorderly conduct charges for two teens. An 18-year-old Minneapolis man was charged, while a 17-year-old Plymouth juvenile wa also cited. The incident took place on County Road 101 in the 15600 block of Plymouth.

A 20-year-old Plymouth man and 18-year-old Plymouth woman were both arrested for domestic assault for an incident in the 3900 block of Lancaster Lane.

A suspect attempted to pass a fraudulent check in the 3900 block of Vinewood Lane. Case is now under investigation.

A vehicle was reported stolen from a parking lot in the 3600 block of Plymouth Boulevard.
