Plymouth Police Report: Assaults Involving Head Butting, Knife

The latest Plymouth Police blotter shows a number of assaults, two happening at hotels.

From July 18-24 the Plymouth Police Department reported 74 incidents, which included the following:

Four assaults

• One on July 22 involved a victim who stated the suspects were trying to get into the back door of a hotel on the 2700 block of Annapolis Lane North for the free breakfast and one of the suspects head butted him.

• Another on July 24 involved a victim who had a verbal altercation with a suspect on the 3500 block of Vicksburg Lane North. The suspect was in vehicle and victim leaned into talk and the suspect punched the victim and took off. The case is under investigation.

• A third incident happened July 21 when a victim had a verbal altercation with a suspect, a 41-year-old Minnetonka man, staying in a hotel on the 2600 block of Annapolis Lane North. Another person came out of the victim’s room and the suspect shoved him into a door. Later the suspect returned to the victim’s room banging on the door with a metal item. The suspect was arrested and brought to jail.

• A fourth incident happened July 22 when officers responded to a report of an assault with a knife on the 6000 block of Shenandoah Lane North. Officers learned on scene that no one was injured and a 51-year-old Plymouth woman was arrested and booked in jail.
