Plymouth Police Report Expensive Thefts, Juvenile Shoplifters

The latest Plymouth Police blotter shows numerous thefts from homes and vehicles.

From Oct. 11-17 the Plymouth Police Department reported 94 incidents, which included the following:

• One commercial burglary

• Three motor vehicle thefts including one taxi, one moped and a vehicle; all were eventually recovered or found.

• Twenty-two thefts, items stolen included: cell phones, shoes and boots from a girls’ locker room on the 4900 block of Peony Lane, iPods, school books, wallet, bicycle (later returned to victim), cash, credit cards, political signs and a jacket. Furniture was illegally dumped in a dumpster, several shoplifting incidents involving juveniles and a gas drive off were also included in thefts.

• Twenty-four thefts from vehicles, items stolen included: camera and case worth $5,000, purse, keys, GPS units, ring of keys, four tires and rims, cell phone, two sets of golf clubs, iPod, sweatshirt, business cards, checkbook, toolbox, laptop bag, iPad, laptop computers, jar of change, tabs, tools, CD player, handheld spotlight, pack of cigarettes, coins and a sliver flashlight.
