Plymouth Police Report: Students Fighting on School Grounds

From May 16-22 the Plymouth Police Department reported 52 incidents, which included seven different disorderly conduct incidents or DOCs.  

Three happened on May 22:

• One in which a large group of juveniles got into a verbal argument causing a disruption in a school on the 10000 block of 36th Avenue North.

• Another incident happened that day with a 16-year-old student who refused to comply with school staff and police officers to leave a classroom at a school on the 10600 block of 36th Avenue North. The student was cited for disorderly conduct and suspended from school.

• Officers responded to two female students fighting ages 15- and 16-years-old, at a school on the 10600 block of 36th Avenue North. Both were cited for DOCs. 

Two happened on May 16:

• Another incident reported on May 16 included a 15-year-old male suspect who threatened a victim regarding a previous incident and was cited for disorderly conduct at a school on the 4900 block of Peony Lane North.

• On the same day as the previous incident, a 16-year-old female was cited for disorderly conduct when she attempted to fight another student at a school on the same block. 

• Lastly, on May 20 an officer assisted with an out-of-control student at a school on the 300 block of Vicksburg Lane North. The case is under investigation.
