Men Steal Quarters From Plymouth Laundry Room

Keith Allen Pecholt and Chad Robert Espeseth are charged with third-degree burglary after authorities say they found them in an apartment complex laundry room with $274 worth of quarters.

Two men have been charged with breaking into a Plymouth apartment complex and stealing quarters from machines in the laundry room.

Keith Allen Pecholt, 36, of Minneapolis and Chad Robert Espeseth, 38, of St. Paul are each charged with third-degree burglary, a felony with a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

According to the criminal complaint, signed by Plymouth Police Detective Jon Goldenman, police responding to an unrelated call on Aug. 1 found Pecholt and Espeseth in the second-floor laundry room of Medicine Lake Apartments in the 1300 block of Medicine Lake Drive West.

When they were found, Pecholt and Espeseth had a laundry basket holding a small shop vacuum filled with quarters, according to the complaint.

The apartment complex manager told police that neither Pecholt nor Espeseth live there and neither had permission to enter the building.

The stolen quarters added up to $274.

Pecholt and Espeseth are free on individual $20,000 bonds. Omnibus hearings in both cases are scheduled Oct. 2 in Hennepin County District Court.

My husband is always funny And he thought this would be a catchy Ad. I stared collecting Teddy BearsRead More after we started dating and he sang the Teddy Bear song on my voice mail (by Elvis Presely)over 20 years ago he is the most soft gentle huggable man so I always call him my Teddy Bear. So my collection had gotten too big and I would love to share with others who may need something soft to hug
