New Health Care Exchange Brings 'Big Culture Shift' to Plymouth Company

The Star Tribune reports on options MNsure opens up at six-employee Ovation Framing.

A Plymouth business owner's decisions with the advent of Minnesota's new MNsure health-insurance exchange are highlighted in a StarTribune article.

John Borowicz and his wife, Jackie Drury, have owned Ovation Framing in Plymouth for a year and a half and have six employees, according to the newspaper:

Because Ovation has fewer than 50 workers, Borowicz can either use the exchange to buy group coverage or give his employees a set amount of money and let them find the health plan that best suits their individual needs. Borowicz isn’t sure which tack he will take.

“It’s a big culture shift to have people go out and do it on their own, even if it might take care of my headaches” he said.
