Plymouth Community Development Block Grant Applications Available

Eligible agencies must apply for the 2012 Community Development Block Grant program before 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24.

According to a city of Plymouth press release:

The Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment Authorityis accepting applications for potential funding under the federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program for the 2012 program year, which runs from July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013. Applications are due on or before 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, January 24, 2012.

The Authority expects to allocate approximately $40,000 of it its 2012 CDBG funding to public service activities. Please read the Application Guide and Instructions for Public Service Funding and complete and submit the Application for Public Service Funding.

The Authority intends to hold a public hearing for its 2012 CDBG Action Plan and Public Service Funding at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, at City Hall. Any agency seeking funding should have a representative at that meeting. A confirmation of this meeting date and time will be sent to all applicants.
