Plymouth Terminates Assessment Agreement with Carlson Center

Carlson Center satisfied terms agreement to help pay for a traffic signal.

Assessments to Carlson Center for a traffic signal at the intersection of Carlson Parkway and Gleason Lake Drive have been completed, according to the Plymouth City Council.

The city entered into the agreement February 1995 for the business to be assessed a fourth of the cost of a “future” traffic signal, at the intersection of Carlson Parkway and Gleason Lake Drive according to council documents.

“With the assessment paid off, the terms of the assessment agreement have been satisfied. Therefore, the property owner is requesting the agreement be terminated,” according to council documents.

The council unanimously agreed to terminate an agreement with Carlson Center Land Limited Partnership II at its Jan. 8 meeting.
