Primary Election: Polling Places in Plymouth

The primary election is Tuesday, Aug. 14. There are several races on the ballot.

The polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, for the Primary election.

To figure out your polling place you can vist the Secretary of State's pollfinder website and put in your address. Once you put in your address you can also get a map to the polling place.

The site also includes a sample ballot by precinct to correspond with what senate, school and other districts you are in. (See a sample ballot for Precinct 19 as an example with this story.)

You can find of candidates in some of the local primary races. Primary day is also the deadline for those who want to file for and Robbinsdale School Board. There are four seats open on the Council and three on the School Board. There are no elections for the Wayzata School Board this year. Voters will vote for those races on General Election day Tuesday, Nov. 6.

There are 23 precincts in Plymouth. The following is the 2012 precinct locations according to the city of Plymouth:

  • Read or mark a ballot.
  • Obtain a magnifying device or a chair to use in the voting booth.
  • Vote at the curb.
