Armstrong Basketball Player Leans on Team After Mother’s Death

WCCO reports that Calvin Green’s mother passed away Tuesday after a fight with breast cancer.

At just 31-years-old, Nicole Moore died from breast cancer Tuesday.

In an article published on Feb. 27, WCCO reports that Calvin Green, Moore’s son, is leaning on teammates and coaches to help deal with the loss.

As a student and basketball player at Robbinsdale Armstrong High School, Green told WCCO’s Jamie Yuccas that his mother didn’t miss a single basketball game.

On Friday, March 1, Green will be a special guest at the basketball team’s senior night.

“He’ll be OK,” Margaret Moczyski, a family friend, told WCCO. “We surround him and we’ll take care of him. Calvin is in my heart. He’s in all our hearts.”

So my collection had gotten too big and I would love to share with others who may need something soft to hug
