At their Dec. 17 school board meeting, school board members at Robbinsdale Area Schools recognized Lori Huber for her work in the Robbinsdale Spanish Immersion School's media center.
Huber is a Media Assistant at Robbinsdale Spanish Immersion School and was named the Minnesota Educational Media Organization (MEMO) Media Assistant of the Year.
According to their website, MEMO is a membership organization serving school media and education technology professionals.
Superintendent Aldo Sicoli said that this is the second time in five years that Huber has received this award.
"Lori is described by her colleagues as someone with great vision, always anticipates needs, will tackle any job, and provides support with a smile to the entire building and every piece of technology. She works well with parents, students and teachers," Sicoli said in school board documents. "We congratulate Lori on this outstanding recognition and thank her for her work with the District."
