Photos: Wayzata Boys Hockey Team Wins Over Maple Grove in Turkey Trot Tournament

The Trojan varsity team won 4-1 Nov. 23, but ended up losing the title game to Edina.

The Wayzata High School boys hockey team beat out Maple Grove Nov. 23 in one of the first games of the season during the annual Wayzata Turkey Trot tournament.

For Wayzata, each of the four goals was a varsity career first for freshman Max Zimmer, juniors Chad Olson and Chandler Linstrand and sophomore Matthew Freytag, according to the Star Tribune. Sophomore Joe Norenberg scored the only goal for the Crimson.
