Wayzata Girls Gymnasts Prepare for State Tournament

The gymnastics competition begins Friday, Feb. 22.

After winning the class 6AA section tournament, a number of Wayzata High School gymnasts will compete in the Minnesota State High School League state tournament this weekend.

Claire Lorbiecki, Hannah Roth and Madison Aaron will take on the best in Minnesota at the University of Minnesota on Feb. 22 and 23.

Roth scored the most points at the section competition on Feb. 16, landing second place with 37.075.

On the Wayzata High School gymnastics Facebook page, the team commended the three state qualifiers:

If you wish to added the state tournament, the class AA competition begins at 6 p.m. on Friday. Tickets are $12 and will be sold at the sports pavillion.
