Wayzata Schools National Merit Semi-Finalists

This school year's Wayzata H.S. National Merit Scholarship semi-finalists were named.

Twenty-two students from Wayzata High School's class of 2013 have been named National Merit Scholarship semi-finalists.

This year’s semi-finalists are: Bryn Balls-Barker, Gordon Blake, Hannah Devens, Lauren Farquhar, Nirupa Galagedera, Christina Gu, Megan He, Paul Keller, Jenny Lai, Kyle Li, Kelvin Liu, Caroline MacDonald, Austin Musliner, Madeleine North, Abram Sanderson, Jordan Sell, Evan Stuempfig, Catherine Sun, Amy Xiong, Ziwei Zhang, Roy Zhao and Sophia Zhou.

Students qualify for the National Merit Scholarship program by taking the preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.

These students will continue in the National Merit program and will be candidates to receive a scholarship from the program. The scholarships will be announced next spring.
