Wayzata Trojets Finish Strong at State Dance Tournament
The jazz team took second and the kick team finished fourth.
The Minnesota State High School League dance competition kept the Wayzata Trojets busy last weekend.
According to MSHL results, the Wayzata varsity jazz team finished in second place, behind Maple Grove. The Wayzata varsity high kick team finished fourth overall.
Wayzata High School dancers Elyssa Chanen and Catherine Christian were nominated for the Class AAA High Kick All-Tournament Team and Ashlyn Bunning and Mia McMurray were nominated for the Class AAA Jazz All-Tournament Team.
