Buffalo Wild Wings TKOs Its Own Bowl Game
The Golden Valley-based chain featured UFC 168 on Saturday instead of the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl matchup between Michigan and Kansas State.
Buffalo Wild Wings patrons were surprised Saturday to find that the restaurants featured UFC 168 instead of the company-sponsored Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl matchup between Michigan and Kansas State, Fox News reported.
Restaurants in the Golden Valley-based restaurant chain put the UFC fights— highlighted by rematches between Anderson Silva and Chris Weidman and between Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate—on most of their TVs with sound. By contrast, even in Michigan, the bowl game was on just a few TVs without sound.
