PHOTOS: Plymouth's Happy Birthday America Parade

The annual kiddie parade had a great turnout on June 29 at Hilde Performance Center.

It was a sunny day for families and children of all ages to celebrate America at the annual Happy Birthday America Parade June 29 in at the Hilde Performance Center in Plymouth.

About 100 people or so were there to enjoy the patriotic celebration and brought bicycles, tricycles, wagons, which they dressed up in red, white and blue streamers and balloons provided by the city of Plymouth.

The "Star Spangled Banner" played before the parade started, the route went around Hilde Performance Center's small stage where Tricia & the Toonies performed when the parade was done.

City of Plymouth volunteers handed out juice and rice krispie bars after the parade also.

The event was free and open to the public without any pre-registration required. It was offered through the city's Entertainment in the Parks program.
