Plymouth Man Recognized for 35 Years as Special Deputy

Roald Knutson has helped with critical public safety functions and taught residents about safety.

The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office recognized a Plymouth man for more than three decades of volunteering with the agency.

Roald Knutson has been a special deputy for 35 years. Special deputies are highly trained volunteers who help with critical public safety functions and teach residents about safety.

At the Sheriff’s Office annual banquet Oct. 11, the agency awarded Knutson a “Years of Service Award” for the time he’s given.
