Plymouth Man Charged with Threatening Two People with Ax

Police say Paul Obanyi Ondimu sent a threatening text message to his wife and then drove to a New Hope home and threatened a man with an ax.

A Plymouth man has been charged with threatening to kill his wife and a New Hope man with an ax. Paul Obanyi Ondimu, 26, is charged with two felony counts of making terroristic threats, each of which carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine. New Hope police were called to a home on Nov. 28 to investigate a report of someone brandishing a weapon, according to the criminal complaint, signed by New Hope Police Detective Marty Williams. Officers spoke to a man who said Ondimu had shown up at the home earlier that evening because he believed that the man and his wife were having an affair.
