DWIs in Plymouth Include a Wayzata Man Carrying a Gun

A recent Plymouth Police blotter shows tampering with motor vehicles, hit and runs and criminal damages to property.

From August 1-7 the Plymouth Police Department reported 48 incidents, which included the following:

• One hit and run

• Two instances of tampering with a motor vehicle

• Three criminal damages to property

• Three DWIs: one reported Aug. 5 when an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at the intersection of interstates 394 and 494. The driver, 27-year-old Wayzata man was arrested for a DWI and for carrying a gun while under the influence with a BAC of .12.
