Providence Academy Breaks Ground on Expansion Project

Construction is expected to be completed by the end of the 2013-2014 school year.

Plymouth's Providence Academy ceremoniously broke ground on its new building expansion project July 18.

The new addition will provide a connection to the existing building and the future performing arts center, according to a school release. The new space will also include offices for middle school and development staff, a conference room, a TV studio for the production of communications and Providence eLearning products, among other amenities.

Members of the school's board of directors and the capital campaign committee donned hard hats and manned shovels as the cameras rolled. Check out a video in the viewing box above.

Construction is expected to be completed by the end of the 2013-2014 school year.
