Plymouth Native Named USA Hockey Player of the Year

Taylor Cammarata has committed to play for the University of Minnesota next year.

USA Hockey named Plymouth native Taylor Cammarata as the Dave Tyler Junior Player of the Year, the organization announced Wednesday.

Cammarata has played for Shattuck-St. Mary’s and the Waterloo Blackhawks. In his last season with the Blackhawks, his 38 goals and 93 points led the United States Hockey League, according to Elite Prospects.

Cammarata has committed to play for the University of Minnesota next year.

He’ll receive his Player of the Year award June 5 at USA Hockey’s annual Night of Tribute Awards Dinner in Colorado Springs, CO.
